I have been using design and writing to creatively solve problems and make things beautiful for most of my life. I’m passionate about it, and it’s what I love to do.

While design and brand strategy is the mainstay of my work, I like to stay busy with a variety of projects.

Leaving Corporate Tech after 16 plus years, I decided freelance and consulting were a great base for me to adventure out into alternate ideas. My first project was to write a mystery/romance novel Mayhem at the Mission, book 1 in my Santa Barbara mystery series. I’m 3/4 through writing the sequel, Secrets in the Surf, and hope to publish it in the winter. My next project was my first business web site, santabarbarabooks.com, where I’ve designed a great selection of lined, dot grid and prompted notebooks, journals, activity planners and more.
